By detecting weak signals, performance drift, and emerging degradation, it provides structured, evidence-based early warnings well before issues escalate into regulatory findings, operational occurrences, or compliance exposure.


This capability enables aircraft operators to independently evaluate the performance of their maintenance service providers, while giving maintenance organisations a continuous mechanism to assess and validate their own operational effectiveness.

It strengthens audit effectiveness by providing continuous, objective, and traceable performance insight that extends beyond sampling-based, retrospective audit cycles, which are largely focused on past performance.

Starjet Aviation is an Australian aviation consultancy specialising in regulatory compliance, safety performance, and continuing airworthiness oversight. We work with operators, maintenance organisations, and aviation authorities to strengthen compliance, performance, and operational safety across the sector.


Led by Managing Director, Ekrem Aceruzumoglu, Starjet Aviation draws on more than forty years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering management, maintenance control, and aviation regulatory oversight. Ekrem is a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, holds a Master’s in Aviation Management, and is completing a Doctor of Engineering focused on predictive safety and regulatory performance in aircraft maintenance organisations. 


As an academic researcher in aviation, he combines evidence-based analysis with extensive field experience. His career includes managing the continuing airworthiness of the Commonwealth of Australia’s flight survey fleet operated by the Civil Aviation Authority Flying Unit, later becoming the Airservices Australia Flying Unit, followed by twenty-six years with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), including extended stints as Manager Regulatory Services.
